THE CHILDREN's MUSEUM OF PITTSBURGH JUST WANTED TO SELL SOME SHIRTS.
We were asked by the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh a simple enough question "can you help boost our merchandise sales". The answer, however, is a little more complicated. In this case it came down to the combination of knowing print, apparel, and the psychology of retail. Things change and most people have enough on their plate than to worry about print trends or how shoppers think...and that’s where we shine.
Caring about the way ink feels is just as important as how it looks - let alone what the design is. The style of printing and what you are printing ON play heavily into why someone purchases something vs. why they don't. Knowing how to make something look good, feel great, and wear well is a skill set we have grown over the past 20+ years.
We revisited their designs, methods of printing, garments they were printing, even how they were being displayed. It worked and sales increased instantly and exponentially. We have also built a long and trusting relationship with one of the most inspirational places in all of Pittsburgh.
